As a growing e-commerce company, we see enormous potential in automation and LLMs, not only to improve customer experience but also to accelerate and simplify our own development processes. We work on Shopify Plus, implement smarter workflows, optimize UX/UI, and want to establish the best tooling and architecture for scalable growth. Driven by our high customer satisfaction, we continue to add new products and functionalities monthly to realize our international growth ambitions.
What will you do?
Lead and innovate: Take the lead in the development of our Shopify Plus e-commerce platform across six domains. Work with the founders to determine the upcoming goals, implement best practices, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Shopify ecosystem.
Drive major upcoming projects:
Consolidate our 6 existing Shopify stores into a single multi-domain, multi-lingual setup with strong B2B capabilities.
Integrate Shopify more tightly with our backend systems and migrate login and account flows to Shopify, aligned with customer needs.
Prepare and work on the reimplementation toward a headless architecture with Shopify Hydrogen and a headless CMS that is easy to manage for people and automations. With the goal to provide a performing, clean beautiful store to our customers, where we can make quick iterations and A/B test to know our results.
Hands-on development: Work on front and backend, integrate with external systems, and prioritize CI/CD, testing, and code quality. Build and improve features that add direct value.
Collaborate and decide: Work closely with a small multidisciplinary team to set priorities that align with our ambitious goals. Take responsibility, get full freedom to make decisions, and help our team work more effectively. Independent of your age or experience, your practical skills and drive are what matter most.
Modern tools and methods: Use CI/CD pipeline and ensure reliable code through automated tests and code reviews. Use tools like Algolia, React, GTM/GA4 server side tracking, Google Cloud (bigquery/dataform), Python(Dagster), Shopify Hydrogen
AI and LLM integration: Use LLMs and agents to speed up your own work and unlock new internal workflows and customer facing features, and inspire the team to do the same. While this isn't the main component of your role, we value enthusiasm and initiative in this area.
