Internship - Backend Engineer (PHP, Symfony, Python, JS)

Backend Engineer Intern Wanted!

We are looking for a proactive and ambitious intern to join our development team. The position is open to work experience, traineeship, or graduation assignment if it aligns with our company goals. As a backend engineer intern, you will work on data flows and management, integrations, and automated testing for the Pimcore application.

PHP Symfony, JS, Python

• Assist in the development of data flows and management (N8N application, JS), integrations, and automated testing for the Pimcore application(PHP Symfony).
• Develop a detailed technical understanding of the work happening in assigned projects and get the responsibility for feature implementation from start to finish.
• Maintain and enhance Pimcore application while following best practices and optimal use of the latest platform improvements.
• Gain experience in working agile, participate in Scrum and Sprint planning, define tasks and provide technical input (approach, estimate).
• Suggest and define Stories/Tasks for further improvement of the user experience, data quality, automation, and integration.

Requirements:

• You are a recent graduate or student pursuing a degree in computer science or similar, alternatively you pursue another study but you have relevant experience and online certifications in this field.
• You have a good understanding of PHP and JavaScript, and experience with Symfony and Python is a plus.
• You are eager to learn, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
• You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
